Documents

The Disabled People’s Archive holds a wealth of documents and publications which shine a light on disabled people’s history, activism, creativity and dedication to promoting the inclusion of disabled people in society.

This archive is largely from disabled individuals and organisations involved in the Disabled People’s Movement, and who promote the Social Model of Disability. But there are documents in the archive which also highlight negative attitudes, discrimination, prejudice, exclusion, lack of consideration and value for disabled people.

Here is a very small selection of the documents in the archive. Those already catalogued have their catalogue number. Where we have them available, we are including different formats. The number of documents available to view on this website, plus the formats available, will increase over time.
